Due to a large influx of manuscripts, we have closed the submission window until futher notice.

What we're looking for:

Socially relevant, provocative fiction.
Nonfiction/Memoir that tells a story and provides historical context.

We do not publish genre fiction. We encourage you to explore the books we have already published to see if your book might be a good fit with our catalog.

We read prose manuscripts from January to July.

To have your fiction or nonfiction considered, send a word or rtf file format query, synopsis, an idea of your potential market and audience, your publication history, and three sample chapters to info@ghostroadpress.com It's okay to include all the pieces of your submission in one document. Please do not paste your submission into an email.

We are not reading new poetry manuscripts until further notice.

It typically takes between three to eight months. Simultaneous submissions are okay. If you get accepted elsewhere, simply send us an email notification.
